The festival took place on April 30st 2005 in the Hotels van Oranje at
the North Sea Coast in Noordwijk and was completely sold out. For more

Opening (open air)
The opening of the festival was a big succes. When the boogie woogies
started, the clouds went away and a clear sky and sun appeared at the
boulevard.
The guests and visitors of the festival could enjoy swinging piano boogie already during the afternoon. On 2 locations was live music by pianists Jeroen Sweers (and his Boogie Woogie Band) and Dirk Jan Vennik (with drummer Maarten Kruijswijk).
The concerts
were completed with Boogie Woogie dancing by Swing Club Boogie World from
Amsterdam, and with tapdancer Jelly from Paris, France. Below you will
find an impression.
The evening before the festival, every year there is the Sponsor and Contributor Evening. A private musical party. Also this year, the festival pianists showed a lot of swinging music. The evening took place in the beautiful Imperial Bar of the hotel.
Also the tapdancers Philou and Jelly gave a great show full of swing.

After the festival evening many visitors joined the afterparty in the Imperial Bar in the hotel.
Every festival pianist joined, and even some of the visitors showed that they could play some boogie woogie!
There was music, tapdancing, dancing, drinks and a lot of fun... Below you will find a photo impression of the afterparty, that didn't stop before 05:00 AM...

It was a lot of work backstage to organize the event, but also a lot of fun...!
