The
International Boogie Woogie Festival Holland offers a varied program with
the world's very best artists in the Boogie Woogie and Piano Blues genre.
The musical styles range from authentic Boogie Woogie and Piano Blues
to early Barrelhouse, and from Rhythm 'n Blues and Jazz to Rock 'n Roll.
The International Boogie Woogie Festival Holland 2011 took place March
12th 2011 and was a sold-out succes. Thanks for all your enthusiastic
reactions. We also thank our Sponsors and Contributors. The festival would
not be possible without their support.
The next festival edition will be March 17th 2012.

The event takes place in the beautiful concert hall of Regardz Hotel Heerlickheijd
van Ermelo. During the annual festival weekend in March, the hotel turns
into a big and swinging gathering of Boogie Woogie and Piano Blues fans
and artists from all over the world.
Besides the Main Festival evening in the concert hall, there are many
other activities. Such as the swinging afterparty with live music, a pre
party in the bar of the hotel, piano masterclasses, dance workshops, and
the Boogie Woogie Buffet with live Boogie Woogie and Piano Blues music.
The festival is organised by Stichting Boogie Promotions Holland, the
Foundation dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Boogie Woogie
and Piano Blues in Holland. It was founded in Hilversum on September 22nd
2003 by its Chairman and Artistic Director, Boogie Woogie and Blues pianist
Martijn Schok.
