The country estate of Hotel ‘Heerlickheijd van Ermelo’ is
situated in the middle of the woody region of the northern Veluwe. Our
comfortable and stylish hotel is an ideal stopping place from where you
can discover the magnificent and varied surroundings.
In
the immediate vicinity the variety of the Veluwe nature welcomes you:
the Veluwe woods, the Veluwe beach and the Lake Veluwe. Or are you more
of a lover of culture?
In that case you can indulge yourself in towns such as Amersfoort, Zwolle
and Harderwijk. In the area there are dozens of picturesque villages,
eminently suitable for exploratory trips.
Would
you like an outing with your children? There is plenty of scope for
that not far from the hotel. Less than 10 km away there is Harderwijk
with its famous dolphinarium, where you can actually stroke a shark!
A little further on, there are some fantastic attractions to be visited.
In Amersfoort you will find the zoo ‘Dierenpark Amersfoort’
and in Biddinghuizen you can visit ‘Walibi World’: the ‘Rollercoaster
Capital’ of Europe! We are convinced your children will be enthusiastic.

hotel, too, is a nice place to be. For instance, in our Brasserie: here
you can have a delicious dinner or, in summer, enjoy the sunshine and
a good glass of wine on the terrace. Besides, our hotel houses a swimming
pool, sauna and fitness room, where you can relax. And, if you want
relax completely our Beauty Centre may well be the answer. Enjoy the
various restful and caring treatments and feel rejuvenated!
There are plenty of pleasant places in the hotel where you can withdraw.
How about the library, laid out in English style? You will feel at home
straightaway. The luxurious armchairs will invite you to sit down with
a book from the collection and think of nothing else for a while. We
