Also the jamsession after the show was a great succes. With everybody around the two pianos this night became a unique evening. Sax player Rinus Groeneveld was standing on the pianos, dancers were swinging all night, Tapdancer Philou included...! Recording technician Serge played the upright bass, bass player Jan Flubacher played the guitar (together with Festival Volunteer Rob Ruiter), and the pianos were swinging the boogie all night long...! The party kept on going untill 5 o'clock in the morning. Then it had to end because the breakfast guest were almost arriving the hall. It was an evening never to forget...! Next time again...! Below you will find some pictures of this jamsession / afterparty of the International Boogie Woogie Festival Holland 2004.

"Sponsor- and contributor evening"

Every year the sponsors and contributors of the Festival are invited for the swinging and informal opening of the Festival, the evening before the 1st Festival day. Included a delicious 'boogie woogie buffet'...!

This evening was a great succes, and with a lot to see and hear. The evening started outside with the relaxed and very sunny terrace outside the hotel, near the beautiful Garden Hall. Everybody could meet and/or see eachother again in a relaxed atmosphere, with all sorts of drinks and live boogie woogie and piano blues music. Later that evening the programm started inside the hotel, in the Garden Hall. Almost all the piano players were there and this evening was a wonderful opening of the festival and an evening not to forget...! Next year...? Again...!
